El surgimiento del Orden Internacional Moderno según Tierra y Mar de Carl Schmitt
Solano Palacio, Carlos Alberto
The aim of this dissertation is to evaluate the interpretations of Land and Sea according to the emergence of the Modern International Order, with the purpose of explaining the perception of the events by Carl Schmitt and his juristic and philosophical contributions to the understanding of the history and theory of International Relations. The particularity of Schmitt´s work is its deep style: the variety and breadth of topics covered, which contrasts with the brevity of the text. This paper found voids in the study of Land and Sea, as well as interpretations other than those proposed by the author, with regard to the rise of the Modern International Order. The originality of Schmitt´s work consists of proposing, in fact, two different international orders arising in the modern world.
