Abstract

This monograph aims to study the reproduction of an authoritarian power structure, under a democratic political regime mandated by the former Prime Minister Meles Zenawi in Ethiopia and to analyze this factors that have prevented the construction of democracy and the factors that have prevailed the authoritarian practices of the Ethiopian government under the theory of structuration by Anthony Giddens and the concept of patrimonialism.
