dc.description.abstractThe degree and nature of the protection of personal information and data continues to evolve in OECD countries. This report describes privacy and data protection developments in OECD countries as well as international trends. In particular, different types of national self-regulatory regimes are considered, as is the regulation of internatioanl data transfer. The report also provides a brief review of the OECD Guidelines on the Protection of Privacy and transborder Flows of Personal Data.
