This report describes privacy and data protection developments in OECD countries as well as international trends. In particular, different types of national self-regulatory regimes are considered, as is the regulation of internatioanl data transfer. The report also provides a brief review of the OECD Guidelines on the Protection of Privacy and transborder Flows of Personal Data. | |
