dc.description.abstractThe FILES on the diskette contain data taken from the twice yearly OECD publication Main Science and Technology Indicators. They contain series selected from the OECD Scientific and Technological Indiclitors database. Seventy of these series concern resources devoted to research and experimental developmcnt (R&D), and 19 are experimental indicators o the output and impact of scientific and technological (S&T) activitiea. Six series of economic data used to calculate indicators such as growth rates at fixed prices, comparisons at purchasing power parities and R&D expenditures as a perccntage of GDP or industrial value added are also included.
