An amount of 133 farms; was evaluated by applying descriptive statistics. The setbacks with which poultry producers have to deal are the constant variations in the prices of the product, due to the lack of production planning; besides, the sale Price to the consumer is directly related to the presence of intermediaries who participate in the distribution process. The production of commercial eggs; plays a very important role for the economic development of the province , with a 55 % of participation at national level; the majority of producers of hen eggs; produce the Lohmann Brown line through an intensive system; the marketing of creole eggs is uncertain since there is not a defined chain of marketing; 12% is commercialized by retailers; whereas 88% is destined for self- consumption in the rural sector engaged to production by an extensive system. The commercial eggs report a wholesale intermediation of 75%, the retailer presents 22% of intermediation; the product reaches the final consumer by 3 %. To produce creole eggs, the percentage of intermediation reflects the opposite with regard to commercial eggs, 88% reaches the final consumer and 12% of the product passes through retailers, who control the price per unit.
