Resumen
The main purpose of this study is to present the necessary parameters in order to create a suspension system for the 125cc motorcycle, and contribute to the development of the productive matrix of the country. The methodology used for collecting the data coming from the analysis, was based on the application of procedures required in reverse engineering, by inquiring for the state of art it will be determined the operation and interaction of each component that makes up the suspension assembly. An analysis of the materials used in each element of the system in order to determine the maximum effort they may be subjected through a subsequent redesign and software verification were conducted. In such a way, with the findings and the enquiry of the main manufacturing procedures required, it will enable to know the feasibility of a national production. It is concluded that the interposed materials are accessible, or they can be replaced. However; there is a disadvantage in the manufacturing processes required to certain pieces. Finally it is shown that the manufacture of the suspension system is feasible in our environment, with the application of the methods set out in this research.
