Resumen
In the Fur Tannery laboratory facilities of the Faculty of Animal Science of the
ESPOCH, an ecological assessment using different levels of tanning Granofin F
90, for leather footwear, 36 goatskins spread over 3 treatments were performed,
with 6 replicates each one and it two trials. The experimental results were modeled
under a completely randomized design in accordance bifactorial. We determined
that with 6% of Granofin F 90, the most efficient results flower breaking (11,34
mm), and tensile strength (34.93 N/cm2
), was reported, greatly surpassing the
requirements of the quality of leather. In the sensory appreciation we recorded the
highest grades of the softness (4,58 points), and fullness (4,58 points), applying
6% of ecological tanning. When we observe the effect of treatments replicas
similar results were determined to be an essential feature in the practical to
produce various leather items field, so it is asserted that has been made to
standardize the formulation of tanning goatskins. The higher cost benefit was
obtained when we working with 6% of tanning Granofin F 90 (1,40); that is to say,
a gain of 40 cents for every dollar invested, that will be compared with other
industrial activities is profitable. So is recommended to use higher levels of
Granofin F 90, to get leather with better physical resistance, sensory skills and
greater economic benefits.
