Resumen
In the present investigation, the healing activity of molle gel (Schinus molle), horsetail (Equisetum arvense L.) and flaxseed (Linum usitatissimum L.) was evaluated at different doses, with the purpose of finding the most adequate to prove its effectiveness. The healing effect was evaluated with the wound induction test in 15 mice of the Mus musculus species, randomly divided into 5 groups, the first positive control group, the Lamoderm cream was applied; the second negative control group did not receive treatment; and the other groups were applied the three formulations (F1 10%, 15%, 5%; F2 5%, 20%, 5%; F3 10%, 10%, 10% of molle, horsetail and flaxseed respectively), the samples were administered every 12 hours for 13 days, the size of the wound was measured until the detachment of the scab. At the end of which it was obtained as a result that F2, F1 was 6 and 7 days of healing respectively, this indicates that they have a greater healing activity while F3 presented 9 days, similar to the positive control that was 10 days, that is to say, they have a lower healing activity and the negative control 13 days. After the statistical analysis by means of the ANOVA test, it was established that the effective doses are F2 and F1, thus concluding that the gel has a significant healing effect on minor skin wounds. It is recommended to carry out a stability study, thus obtaining data for the estimation of the shelf life of the final product.
