Resumen
"This is an investigation to evaluate the nutritional quality of the Iyophilized vermin-
our of worms (Eisenia foetida) as a raw material in the elaboration of balanced stuff
for the Arco iris (Oncoryncus mpkiss) trout little fish to obtain true and tested
information at the lab which could be used in the feed manufacturing for animals.
The microbiological and bromatological analyses were carried out, applying volumetric
and gravimetric techniques among others. The microbiological analysis gave the
following results: 118 (UFC/g) mesophyll aerobes, 270 (UFC/g) total colliforms, 193
(UFC/g) fecal colliforms, 151 (UFC/5) fungi and leavens; from the bromatolological
analysis the following resulis were obtained: 4829 % protein, 522% fat, 444%
humidity, 4.57% ash and from the balanced stuff, 49.37% protein, 3.67% fiber, 6.45%
fatand 9.38% humidity.
A comparative study of the vermin-Mlour and the fish meal was carried out, observing
that it presents a similar protein level, while the vermin-flour shows a better humidity as
related to the fish four, but the fat and ash levels are inferior, taking into account that
he fish flour has 54% protein, 14% fat, 7% humidity, 12% ash, 10 to the sixth
mesophyll acrobes (UFC/2), 10 to the fourth (UFC/8) and 10 to the fourth (UFC/g)
fungi and leavens.
It is concluded that vermin-Mour could substitule the fish meal for its nutritional quality."
