Purgatory XXIV, XXV, XXVI [Dante in translation]
Autor
Mazzotta, Giuseppe
Resumen
Presents a lecture with Professor David Lummus that discusses the Purgatorio XXIV, XXVI. The poets Dante and Virgil reach the terrace of gluttony and lust. Their meetings with the pilgrim Forese clearly represent the poetic comedy. One of the gluttons, Bonagiunta of Lucca, predicts the poet's passion for a woman from his city and praises his poetic style. In Canto XXVI Dante meets Guido Guinizelli, founder of New Style Sweet, to whom he shows deep admiration. In Canto XXV, paternity relationship between God and man is exalted. The divine creation of soul transmits the divinity of poetic inspiration Educação Superior::Linguística, Letras e Artes::Letras
