dc.descriptionThe video presents, firstly, a numeric line with the origin in zero. In this line are exemplified some operations of addition and multiplication with integer numbers. Through the multiplication of a negative number and through the attempt to extract the square root of this number it is approached the concept of imaginary number and it is initiated a superficial presentation of the work with the complex numbers, being approached some operations with the elements of this system, through illustrations in the plane of Argand-Gauss. Before the end of the presentation, the concept of complex projective line is worked with the support of a stereographic projection
