| dc.description | Luego de ofrecer las razones para emprender un análisis del "Simposio" y la "Apología" de Jenofonte en relación con las emociones, me centro en los grupos de placer/gozo y amor/amistad y analizo los contextos relevantes. Nos presentan una imagen compleja que intento interpretar mediante un concepto de jerarquía. A continuación, abordo la cuestión de la expresión de las emociones. Finalmente, muestro por qué y cómo el "Simposio" y la "Apología" pueden ser útiles en el estudio de las emociones. | |
| dc.description | After presenting the reasons for undertaking an analysis of Xenophon’s "Symposium" and "Apology" with regard to emotions, I focus on the groups of pleasure/joy and love/friendship and discuss relevant contexts. They provide us with a complex picture which I then try to interpret by means of a concept of hierarchy. Next, I touch upon on the issue of the expression of emotions. Finally, I show why and how the "Symposium" and the "Apology" may be helpful in the study of emotions. | |
