Resumen
Objetivo: Determinar los factores relacionados a la anemia en lactantes de
seis meses en el Hospital Nacional Hipólito Unanue 2021.
Metodología: Estudio descriptivo, observacional, retrospectivo y transversal,
enfoque cuantitativo de nivel correlacional. En una muestra aleatoria simple.
Se usó como instrumento una ficha de recolección de datos validado por
expertos, se recopilaron los datos y se analizaron en el programa SPSS.
Resultados: De los factores maternos, el 60,32% (RHO: -0,555, p=0,00,
p<0,05) los lactantes de 6 meses anémicos tienen progenitoras entre 20 y 35
años. El 77,78% (RHO: 0,484, p=0,00 p<0,05) de las madres han presentado anemia durante la gestación. De los factores neonatales, se encontró que
el 60,32% (RHO: -0,309, p=0,01, p<0,05) de los lactantes con anemia tuvieron un parto pretérmino y el 66,67% (RHO: -0,372, p=0,02, p<0,05) tuvieron
un bajo peso al nacer. Dentro de los factores nutricionales y suplementarios,
el 88,89% (X2
: 17,01, p=0,00, p<0,05) de los lactantes no recibe lactancia
materna exclusiva y el 93,65% (X2
: 16,50, p=0,00, p<0,05) no recibieron suplemento de hierro polimaltosado.
Conclusiones: La anemia gestacional, prematuridad, haber tenido un bajo
peso al nacimiento, el no tener una lactancia materna exclusiva, el no recibir
suplemento de hierro polimaltosado son factores que se encuentran relacionados a la anemia en la población de estudio.
