Nivel de preparación para la integración TIC en docentes de educación primaria de zona urbana de Huancayo

Resumen
La finalidad de este estudio consiste en examinar el nivel de preparación de los
docentes de educación primaria en la zona urbana de Huancayo para la
incorporación de las Tecnologías de la Información y Comunicación (TIC). Se
investigaron diversos aspectos, como el género, la participación en programas
de formación o especialización en el uso de las TIC, la experiencia laboral, la
infraestructura disponible para la integración de las TIC y el respaldo ofrecido por
el personal directivo. La metodología empleada es descriptiva, con un enfoque
cuantitativo, involucrando a 164 docentes de siete instituciones educativas. La
recopilación de datos se llevó a cabo mediante encuestas que incluían un
cuestionario estructurado en formato Likert. Los resultados apuntan a que la
mayoría de los profesores exhiben un nivel intermedio de preparación para la
integración de las TIC en sus métodos educativos, evidenciándose notables
disparidades en los niveles de preparación según las variables analizadas.
Factores como la participación en programas formativos, la existencia de una
infraestructura adecuada y el respaldo decidido del personal directivo surgen
como elementos influyentes en el nivel de preparación para la integración de las
TIC. Aparentemente, el género y la experiencia laboral no desempeñan un papel
determinante en la preparación de los docentes para implementar prácticas de
integración de las TIC. Este estudio subraya la importancia crítica del análisis de
factores condicionantes que pueden contribuir a una comprensión y aplicación
más efectivas del proceso de integración de las TIC, iniciado en los últimos años
en las instituciones educativas de la zona.
