Resumen
El objetivo de esta investigación fue establecer la asociación entre perfil lipídico y niveles de glucosa sérica en pacientes que acuden a un laboratorio clínico, Jaén, 2021. La investigación fue de tipo básica con un enfoque cuantitativo, no experimental, correlacional. La muestra fue de 275 pacientes que acudieron a realizarse exámenes de glucosa y perfil lipídico. Los resultados indicaron que en la variable glucosa sérica el 30.1% estuvo por encima de 110 mg/dl, un 0.4% estuvo con valores bajos al valor referencial y un 69.5% estuvo con valores normales. En perfil lipídico se obtuvo lo siguiente: colesterol elevado en un 36.7%; triglicéridos en un 50.2%; un 79.7% presento HDL-c en sus rangos normales y elevado; un 15.7% presenta LDL-c alterado y un 29.1% de VLDL-c alterado. Al mismo tiempo se realizó la prueba de chi cuadrado para determinar la asociación entre valores de glucosa sérica y perfil lipídico. Se concluye que no existe asociación entre perfil lipídico y niveles de glucosa sérica en los pacientes atendidos en un Laboratorio clínico Jaén, 2021, donde se han obtenido valores inferiores de X2c no cumpliendo la relación X2t < X2c del estadístico Chi cuadrado. -
