Determinación del incremento del volumen de madera y estructura diamétrica total en la comunidad nativa de Santa Mercedes, río Putumayo, Loreto, Perú

Resumen
El presente estudio se realizó en la comunidad nativa de Santa Mercedes, a orillas de la quebrada Gairilla, afluente derecho del río Putumayo, en el distrito del Putumayo, provincia de Maynas; con la finalidad de obtener información del incremento del volumen de madera y la estructura del bosque, al final del periodo de 2 años. La evaluación se realizó en las parcelas permanentes de muestreo, mediante un inventario forestal.
Los resultados nos indican que el volumen de madera en la evaluación final fue 1200,872 m3 /ha, presentándose una disminución en 24,497 m3de volumen del segundo año con respecto al primero.
La especie con mayor índice de valor de importancia, resulto ser “Machimango” con 20,675% y las especies con menor IVI son “rumi caspi” y “Nina caspi” ambos con 0,217%. La estructura vertical, está determinada por árboles cuya altura en el estrato inferior, no excede los 14,7 m de altura, en el estrato medio varía entre 15 y 19,9 m y el estrato superior árboles por encima de los 20 m.De los tres (3) estratos arbóreos, el estrato inferior acumula la mayor cantidad de individuos con 54,23%, estrato medio 36,44% y 9,32% en el estrato superior, siendo la especie dominante en el estrato inferior la “sacha guayaba”, en el medio el “machimango” y en el superior el “huayracaspi”.
