Resumen
El objetivo del trabajo de investigación fue determinar la relación entre las características clínicas del recién nacido y la anemia durante el segundo y tercer trimestre del embarazo. La hipótesis de la investigación busca determinar si las características clínicas del recién nacido se ven afectadas de manera significativa por la anemia durante el segundo y tercer trimestre en el embarazo. La investigación es un estudio descriptivo, correlacional, transversal y retrospectivo, realizado en el Servicio de neonatología del Hospital Regional Docente Materno Infantil El Carmen Huancayo - 2013- 2015. La población está constituida por 250 recién nacidos con una muestra de 152 recién nacidos. El instrumento es la ficha de análisis de contenido que ha sido validado y aplicado por Martín R. y Nieto M. El resultado de la investigación es que el 53.1% tuvo peso adecuado para su edad gestacional y el 46.9% es pequeño para su edad gestacional, en cuanto a la talla el 82.5% es adecuado para su edad gestacional, el 14.7% es pequeño para su edad gestacional y el 2.8% es grande para su edad gestacional; El 44.1% de madres tiene una hemoglobina normal en el segundo trimestre, el 35% anemia leve, el 20.3% anemia moderada y el 0.7% anemia severa; por otro lado en el tercer trimestre el 30.8% tuvieron hemoglobina normal, el 50.3% anemia leve, el 16.1% anemia moderada y el 2.8% anemia severa. La conclusión es que no existe relación entre las características clínicas del recién nacido y la anemia en el segundo y tercer trimestre del embarazo. Tesis
