Resumen
El propósito de la presente investigación fue la de evaluar los resultados clinicos obtenidos posterior a la ventilación mecánica no invasiva en pacientes que presentan Covid 19 moderado de acuerdo a las dimensiones evaluadas. Pese a que el Covid 19 se encontró en su segundo año de actividad la
incidencia y prevalencia de casos aún son elevadas en la mayoría de
países. Producto de este aumento en los casos que ingresan a las
entidades hospitalarias se presentó una escasez de ventiladores para satisfacer las altas demandas, es por eso que el presente estudio buscó
determinar los resultados clinicos obtenidos posterior a la ventilación
en pacientes con enfermedad pulmonar por covid. A su vez un valor
agregado que presenta este estudio es que servirá de base para futuras
investigaciones. La enfermedad por covid ha ocasionado un aumento en la cantidad de
pacientes con síndrome de distréss respiratorio agudo hospitalizados
en UCI. Por esta razón, es fundamental tener un adecuado
conocimiento de los beneficios que brinda este tratamiento para
pacientes con enfermedad por Covid 19 moderado ya que esta afecta
indirectamente tanto al paciente al evitar gastos económicos
excesivos, estadía hospitalaria prolongada y riesgo de complicaciones
como al establecimiento de salud mejorando la calidad de la atención,
así como los indicadores sanitarios.
