Estudio bibliométrico sobre Síndrome de Intestino Corto en pacientes pedátricos 2010 - 2022

Objetivo del estudio: Establecer características bibliométricas de producción científica sobre síndrome de intestino corto en pacientes pediátricos, desde el período 2010 - 2022. Metodología: Se realizó un análisis bibliométrico en la base de datos Scopus. Se incluyeron los documentos publicados entre el 2010 y 2022. Culminada la recolección de los artículos, se excluyeron los duplicados y posteriormente se hizo una revisión de aquellos que cumplan con los criterios de inclusión y exclusión. Después de este proceso de verificación, se exportaron dichos artículos seleccionados a una base de datos usando el programa Excel 2019 y se usó el programa VOSviewer versión 1.6.18 para poder realizar y visualizar redes bibliométricas. Se realizó un análisis descriptivo con las variables categóricas y cuantitativas. Resultados: Se recuperó un total de 520 documentos, incluidos 160 autores, 108 instituciones, 45 países/regiones. Estados Unidos fue el país contribuyente más destacado, siendo Pakarinen MP el autor más con mayor número de publicaciones. La institución más prolífica fue Boston Children Hospital y el Journal of Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition es la revista principal en este campo. Las palabras clave de mayor frecuencia fueron Síndrome de Intestino Corto, Insuficiencia Intestinal, Niños y Nutrición Parenteral. El autor con más publicaciones es Mikko P. Pakarinen de nacionalidad finlandesa. La institución con mayor número de publicaciones fue Boston Children´s Hospital, así como las entidades que financiaron el mayor número de publicaciones estuvieron relacionadas con los institutos de salud (NIH) de Estados Unidos. Conclusiones: Según los datos recopilados, se observa un aumento en las publicaciones sobre síndrome de intestino corto en pacientes pediátricos en los últimos 12 años, siendo Estados Unidos el país líder en este tema, teniendo a sus…
