Factores sociodemográficos y clínicos asociados a lesiones intraepiteliales escamosas en pacientes atendidas en el Hospital Carlos Lanfranco La Hoz durante el año 2022

Objetivo: Determinar factores sociodemográficos y clínicos asociados al diagnóstico de Lesión Intraepitelial Escamosa de bajo grado y Lesión Intraepitelial Escamosa de alto grado en pacientes atendidas en el Hospital Carlos Lanfranco La Hoz durante el año 2022. Material y Métodos: Estudio observacional, analítico y transversal; muestra constituida por 200 pacientes del servicio de Ginecología a quienes se les realizó papanicolaou. Para la evaluación de la independencia entre las variables independientes y lesiones intraepiteliales escamosas se utilizó la prueba Chi Cuadrado, considerándose significancia estadística p < 0,05. Seguidamente se realizó una regresión logística multinomial obteniéndose Odds Ratios (OR) crudos y ajustados. Para el análisis estadístico se utilizó el programa R versión 4.0.5 ® y R Studio 2021.09.0 ®. Resultados: El análisis multinomial identificó a las variables edad (OR: 4.992; IC: 95%; 1.698-14.676), inicio de relaciones sexuales (OR: 0.128; IC: 95%; 0.030-0.551), número de parejas sexuales (OR: 4.015; IC: 95%; 1.027-15.685) como factores de riesgo que aumentan la probabilidad para desarrollar lesión intraepitelial escamosa de bajo grado (NIC I). Conclusiones: Se concluye que, tener entre 26 a 35 años asociado al inicio relaciones sexuales entre 15 a 19 años y haber tenido entre 3 a 5 parejas sexuales son factores de alto riesgo que aumentan significativamente la probabilidad que se presente lesión intraepitelial escamosa de bajo grado NIC I. Adicionalmente se encontraron las siguientes prevalencias: PAP anormal 14.5%; LIEBG (NIC I) 4.5%; LIEAG (NIC II) 2% y LIEAG (NIC III) 1%.
