Cumplimiento de las normas de bioseguridad y riesgos de contagio de enfermedades en los enfermeros del Hospital San Martín de Pangoa, 2020.

Resumen
Objetivo: Determinar la relación que existe entre el cumplimiento de las normas de bioseguridad y riesgos de contagio de enfermedades de tuberculosis y hepatitis B en los enfermeros del Hospital San Martín de Pangoa, 2020.
Material y método: Estudio de tipo básica, con un nivel descriptivo correlacional, no experimental y transversal, la muestra fueron 24 licenciados de enfermería, a quienes se le aplicó una ficha de cotejo con escala dicotómica de 12 ítems para el cumplimiento de las normas de bioseguridad y 10 ítems para la variable riesgos de contagio de enfermedades. Los resultados fueron presentados descriptivamente y de forma inferencial.
Resultados: Se observó que el 41.67% presenta un cumplimiento de las normas de bioseguridad regular, 33.33% optimo y 25% deficiente. Se puede evidenciar que en una mayor proporción los licenciados de enfermería presentan un cumplimiento de las normas de bioseguridad regular, por otro lado, el 45.83% presenta un riesgo de contagio de enfermedades alto, 33.33% bajo y 20.83% medio.
Conclusiones: Los resultados obtenidos en la correlación reflejan que existe una relación positiva de 0,667 entre el cumplimiento de las normas de bioseguridad y los riesgos de contagio de enfermedades en los enfermeros del Hospital San Martín de Pangoa, 2020; es decir que a un mejor control en el cumplimiento de las normas le corresponde un mejor control de los riesgos, y viceversa.
