Resumen
Objetivo: Determinar la relación entre los trastornos de conducta alimentaria y la imagen
corporal en ingresantes a la Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud de la Universidad Andina
del Cusco, 2023.
Método: La investigación "Relación entre Trastornos de Conducta Alimentaria y la
Imagen Corporal en Ingresantes a la Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud de la Universidad
Andina del Cusco, 2023" es de tipo básico y correlacional, con un diseño no experimental.
Se utilizó un enfoque cuantitativo que involucró la recopilación y análisis de datos
numéricos para explorar la relación entre los trastornos de conducta alimentaria y la
imagen corporal en los estudiantes de la facultad.
Resultados: Los resultados de la investigación revelan una correlación positiva y
significativa entre los trastornos de conducta alimentaria y la insatisfacción con la imagen
corporal en ingresantes a la facultad (rho = 0.340). Además, se observa una correlación
similar entre la búsqueda de delgadez y la bulimia nerviosa con la insatisfacción en la
imagen corporal (rho = 0.403 y 0.388, respectivamente). Sin embargo, no se encontró una
relación significativa entre la insatisfacción corporal y la percepción de la imagen
corporal (rho = -0.046) en este contexto académico. Estos resultados resaltan la necesidad
de abordar los trastornos de conducta alimentaria, especialmente la búsqueda de delgadez
y la bulimia nerviosa, para promover el bienestar de los estudiantes.
Conclusiones: Se concluye que, la investigación revela una correlación significativa
entre los trastornos de conducta alimentaria, la búsqueda de delgadez y la bulimia
nerviosa con la insatisfacción en la imagen corporal de los ingresantes a la facultad, lo
que sugiere la importancia de abordar estos aspectos en la promoción del bienestar de los estudiantes. Sin embargo, no se encontró una relación significativa entre la insatisfacción
corporal y la percepción de la imagen corporal en este contexto académico. Objective: Determine the relationship between eating disorders and body image in

eating disorders and dissatisfaction with body image in college entrants (rho = 0.340).
Furthermore, a similar correlation is observed between the pursuit of thinness and bulimia
nervosa with body image dissatisfaction (rho = 0.403 and 0.388, respectively). However,
no significant relationship was found between body dissatisfaction and the perception of
body image (rho = -0.046) in this academic context. These results highlight the need to
address eating disorders, especially the pursuit of thinness and bulimia nervosa, to
promote student well-being.
