Nivel de conocimiento sobre antibioticoterapia de uso sistémico en estudiantes del área de endodoncia en el Centro Estomatológico Universitario Luis Vallejos Santoni, 2023

Abstract

Este trabajo de investigación se propuso evaluar el nivel de conocimiento acerca de la antibioticoterapia de uso sistémico en estudiantes del área de endodoncia en el Centro Estomatológico Universitario Luis Vallejos Santoni durante el año 2023. La metodología empleada fue de naturaleza descriptiva, con un diseño no experimental de tipo transversal y enfoque cuantitativo. La finalidad fue medir y establecer relaciones entre las variables de estudio. La muestra consistió en 70 estudiantes del área de endodoncia, seleccionados según criterios de inclusión y exclusión. Se empleó una encuesta como instrumento de recopilación de datos. que fue validada por expertos. Los resultados a los que se llego es que el nivel de conocimiento sobre antibioticoterapia de uso sistémico en estudiantes del área de endodoncia presento un nivel medio con el 64.3% , el nivel de conocimiento sobre antibioticoterapia de uso sistémico según el diagnostico en endodoncia obtuvo un nivel bajo en un 95.7%, en relación del tipo de alergia presento un nivel medio con el 55.7%, según la posología se obtuvo un nivel medio con el 55.7%, en relación a la edad y <= 22 años un 30% en relación al el sexo femenino el nivel es medio con el 38.6%. La conclusión a la que se llegó en la investigación es que el nivel de conocimiento sobre antibioticoterapia de uso sistémico tuvo un nivel medio.

The objective of this research work was to determine the level of knowledge about antibiotic therapy for systemic use in students of the endodontics area at the Luis Vallejos Santoni University Stomatological Center, 2023. The methodology used is that the study had a descriptive scope, its design was non-experimental, cross-sectional, the sample and population consisted of 70 students from the endodontics area, meeting the inclusion and exclusion criteria, the instrument used was a survey that was validated by experts. The results that were reached is that the level of knowledge about antibiotic therapy for systemic use in students in the area of endodontics presented a medium level with 64.3%, the level of knowledge about antibiotic therapy for systemic use according to the diagnosis in endodontics obtained a level low in 95.7%, in relation to the type of allergy I present a medium level with 55.7%, according to the dosage an average level was obtained with 55.7%, in relation to age and <= 22 years, 30% in relation to the the female sex the level is medium with 38.6%. The conclusion reached in the investigation is that the level of knowledge about antibiotic therapy for systemic use had a medium level.
