Índice de masa corporal y su relación con infección de herida operatoria en pacientes post-cesareadas en el Hospital San Juan de Dios de Pisco años 2016 - 2017

Resumen
El objetivo del estudio fue determinar si el Índice de Masa Corporal se relaciona
con la infección de herida operatoria en pacientes sometidas a cesáreas en el
Hospital San Juan de Dios de Pisco en los años 2016-2017
Se realizó un estudio observacional, transversal, retrospectivo con método
deductivo, la muestra del estudio estuvo conformada por 36 pacientes en
quienes ocurrió la infección después de la cesárea.
Encontrándose que el sobrepeso en gestante se presentó con una frecuencia de
47.2%, el seroma con 19,4%, lo más frecuente dentro de las infecciones de
herida operatoria; seguido de normo peso con 36.1%, Obesidad con 13.8%;
bajo peso con una frecuencia de 2.7%, en pacientes sometidas a cesáreas
siendo un factor predisponente para hacer infección de herida operatoria.
Se concluyó que existe relación entre el índice de masa corporal y las infecciones
de herida operatoria en gestantes sometidas a cesáreas en el Hospital de Pisco
años 2016-2017.Con una significancia p0>0.05% es decir que no es significativo.
