Resumen
El capital de trabajo representa la cantidad de recursos financieros disponibles para cubrir las operaciones diarias, por su parte, la rentabilidad mide la capacidad de una empresa para generar ganancias en relación con los recursos invertidos, en ese contexto, el objetivo del presente estudio fue determinar la influencia del capital de trabajo en la rentabilidad de las empresas peruanas que cotizan en Bolsa, períodos 2010 al 2019. El estudio fue de enfoque cuantitativo, de diseño no experimental transeccional; los datos se obtuvieron de las empresas industriales que cotizaron en Bolsa entre los años 2010 – 2019; la muestra estuvo conformada por 32 empresas; el instrumento fue una lista de cotejo. Los resultados elaborados a través del modelo de regresión muestran que a medida que el PCC aumenta en una unidad, la rentabilidad disminuye en 4413.578 unidades; cuando el PPI aumenta en una unidad, la rentabilidad disminuye en 8704.607 unidades; a medida que el PPP aumenta en una unidad, la rentabilidad disminuye en 22312.350 unidades, y el CCE tiene una afectación altamente significativa en el ROA. Se concluye que el capital de trabajo tiene influencia significativa en la rentabilidad. Los hallazgos del presente estudio respaldan la importancia de gestionar correctamente el capital de trabajo para mejorar la rentabilidad de las organizaciones, debido a que los diferentes agentes de la gestión financiera tendrían una influencia significativa en las finanzas empresariales.
