In this paper we discuss the concepts of eroticism and pornography in a broader vision than is usually the case in much scholarship. We propose a vision of these two concepts from a semiotic perspective and within a frame that proceeds from a phenomenological concept of the body. We will also correlate these concepts with those of coquetry and flirtation, in a way that will allow us to better understand a series of cultural ways of looking at the body and speaking of it. The concepts of body motion and body rest will also help to frame the senses of eroticism and pornography.
