“Nivel de conocimientos y actitudes sobre inmunizaciones contra COVID-19 en odontólogos vacunados de La Libertad, 2021”

Abstract

El presente estudio de investigación de tipo básico, descriptivo y de corte transversal, tuvo como objetivo principal determinar el nivel de conocimientos y actitudes sobre inmunizaciones contra el COVID-19 de los odontólogos vacunados de La Libertad en el año 2021. La investigación se desarrolló con la participación de los odontólogos miembros del Colegio Odontológico del Perú – Región La Libertad que fueron vacunados contra la COVID-19. La muestra del estudio estuvo constituida por un total de 180 odontólogos de La Libertad, vacunados el 2021, de los cuales 75 fueron del género femenino (41.7%) y 105 del género masculino (58.3%), 78 con edad Menor de 30 años(43.3%), 89 con edad de 30 a 44 años, (49.4%) , 12 con edad de 45 a 60 años (6.7%), 1 Mayor de 60 años ( 0.6%), 67 egresados de universidades públicas( 37.2%), y 113 egresados de universidades privadas( 62.8%), 69 con tiempo de egreso de Hasta 5 años( 38.3%), 71 con 6 a 10 años( 39.4%) , 32 con 11 a 20 años(17.8% ) y 8 con más de 21 años de su egreso( 4.4%). Los resultados señalan que en nivel de conocimiento sobre inmunizaciones contra COVID-19 en odontólogos vacunados de La Libertad fue de 72.8% con nivel Bueno, 26.1% con nivel regular y 1.1% con nivel malo; mientras que la actitud sobre inmunizaciones contra COVID-19 fue del 98.9% favorable y 1.1% desfavorable. Se concluye que el nivel de conocimiento sobre inmunizaciones contra el COVID-19 de los odontólogos vacunados de La Libertad en el año 2021, fue “bueno” (72.8%) y las actitudes sobre inmunizaciones contra el COVID-19 de los odontólogos vacunados de La Libertad en el año 202, fue “favorable” 98.9%

The main objective of this basic, descriptive, cross-sectional research study was to determine the level of knowledge and attitudes about immunizations against COVID-19 among vaccinated dentists in La Libertad in the year 2021. The research was carried out with the participation of dentists who were members of the Dental College of Peru - La Libertad Region and who were vaccinated against COVID-19. It is concluded that the level of knowledge about immunizations against COVID-19 of the vaccinated dentists of La Libertad in the year 2021 was "good" (72.8%) and the attitudes about immunizations against COVID-19 of the vaccinated dentists of La Libertad in the year 2021 was "favorable" 98.9%.
