Recuperación de oro utilizando “sandioss” como alternativa al “cianuro de sodio” en la lixiviación alcalina por agitación de minerales tipo óxido, sulfuro y carbonáceo

En la actualidad se están buscando nuevos reactivos lixiviantes para minerales auríferos que sustituyan al cianuro de sodio, con la finalidad de disminuir los problemas generados por la contaminación ambiental y el manejo que conlleva el uso de cianuro que es el más utilizado en la minería para la extracción de oro. Se planteó hacer un trabajo comparativo para la extracción de oro usando el reactivo Sandioss versus el cianuro de sodio para tres tipos de minerales siendo estos: sulfuros, óxidos y carbonáceos; a similares condiciones operativas como granulometría 80% -m200, 33% de sólidos, 500 ppm de concentración de reactivo lixiviante, pH 11, cal como regulador de pH, con tiempo de agitación 72 horas rolado en botella y a condiciones normales de temperatura y presión. De los resultados obtenidos con el reactivo lixiviante Sandioss y el cianuro de sodio a 72 horas de lixiviación, se obtuvo para el mineral sulfuro 83.36% y 85.91% respectivamente, para el mineral tipo óxidos se obtuvo 93.46% y 95.01% respectivamente y para el mineral carbonáceo se obtuvo 40.86% y 38.01% respectivamente. Se concluye que la recuperación de oro utilizando SANDIOSS es similar al obtenido con CIANURO DE SODIO y se presenta como una alternativa en la lixiviación alcalina por agitación de minerales tipo óxido, sulfuro y carbonáceo. A un 95% de significancia existe evidencia empírica suficiente para concluir que la recuperación de oro con los reactivos es similar, siendo los tipos de minerales los que presentan mayor influencia en la recuperación de oro.
