Asociación del cronotipo con los niveles de ansiedad y depresión en estudiantes de medicina

Resumen
Determinar la asociación entre el cronotipo y los niveles de ansiedad y depresión en estudiantes de medicina de ciencias clínicas de la Universidad Nacional de Trujillo. Material y Método: Se realizó un estudio de tipo observacional correlacional de corte transversal, que contó con la participación de 198 estudiantes, los cuales completaron 3 cuestionarios; utilizando para el análisis de estos, la prueba Gamma. Resultados: El 79.9% (n=158) de estudiantes presentó cronotipo intermedio; 14.5% (n=28) cronotipo vespertino y 6.06% (n=12) cronotipo matutino. Los niveles de ansiedad y depresión variaron de acuerdo al cronotipo que presentaron, siendo los niveles de ansiedad (X2=7.4, p=0.287, IC=95%) y depresión (X2=14.914, p=0.021, IC=95%) mínima los más frecuentemente asociados. Conclusión: Existe asociación entre el cronotipo y los niveles de depresión en los estudiantes de ciencias clínicas de la Universidad Nacional de Trujillo.
