Conocimiento del paciente hipertenso adulto sobre medidas de prevención en enfermedad renal crónica Policlínico Essalud

El presente estudio de investigación descriptivo de corte transversal se realizo en pacientes hipertensos adultos de 55 a 59 años de edad con hipertensión arterial y recibiendo tratamiento en el servicio de adulto del Policlínico Chiclayo Oeste – EsSalud, las bases conceptuales en que se sustenta la presente investigación son conocimiento, según Peralta (2004), Sanguineti (2005); hipertensión arterial, según, Feller Álvarez y Argente (2008), OPS (2009), EsSalud (2010), medidas de prevención, Organización Mundial de la Salud (1985), fundación de prevención de riesgos laborales (2006); y enfermedad renal crónica National Kidney Foundation (2004), Avendaño y Soriano (2008), Ribes (2004). Para la recolección de información se aplicó un cuestionario estructurado durante los meses de agosto a octubre del 2016, con la finalidad de determinar el nivel de conocimientos en pacientes hipertensos en relación a las medidas de prevención en enfermedad renal crónica. Participaron en el estudio un total de 80 pacientes adultos hipertensos. Se utilizó el cuestionario estructurado “Conocimiento sobre enfermedad renal crónica en pacientes con diagnostico de hipertensión arterial”, el cual fue validado por la prueba de juicio de expertos y obtuvo un alfa de crombach 0.8, este valor indica que el instrumento tiene una confiabilidad del 81 por ciento con un error de 19 por ciento y se tuvo en cuenta los principios de anonimato, libre participación y confidencialidad. Los resultados muestran un pobre conocimiento en los pacientes hipertensos adultos, dado que solamente el 24 por ciento tenían nivel de conocimiento alto sobre las medidas de prevención en enfermedad renal crónica.
