Nivel de Conocimiento y Actitud del Profesional de Enfermería Sobre Valoración del Dolor Post Operatorio en la Unidad de Recuperación Hospital II Essalud-Ayacucho 2008

Resumen
El presente estudio de tipo descriptivo, correlacional de corte transversal, se realizó en Profesionales de Enfermería en la unidad de Recuperación del Hospital II EsSalud Huamanga – Ayacucho, durante los meses de Agosto y Septiembre del 2008, con la finalidad de determinar la relación que existe entre el nivel de conocimiento y actitud del Profesional de Enfermería sobre valoración del dolor post operatorio.
La muestra estuvo constituida por 40 Enfermeras de la unidad de Recuperación y el área de Hospitalización del Hospital II EsSalud Huamanga, los datos se obtuvieron haciendo uso de dos instrumentos aplicados a los Profesionales de Enfermería, para valorar el nivel de conocimiento y actitud del profesional de Enfermería sobre valoración del dolor post operatorio respectivamente. Para la recolección de la información se solicitó a cada enfermera que respondan las encuestas, asegurando la confidencialidad y para el análisis estadístico se utilizó la prueba del test de independencia de criterios de Chi Cuadrado (X²).
En base a los resultados obtenidos se llegaron a las siguientes conclusiones:
El 60 por ciento de personal de enfermería tiene un nivel de conocimiento malo sobre valoración del dolor postoperatoria, el 30por ciento regular y un 10% bueno. .
El 70 por ciento del personal de enfermería tiene una actitud dependiente frente al dolor postoperatorio de los pacientes quirúrgicos y 20 por ciento una actitud independiente e indiferente.
El nivel de conocimiento sobre valoración del dolor postoperatorio se relaciona significativamente con la actitud del profesional de enfermería en la Unidad de Recuperación del Hospital II EsSalud Huamanga
