Remoción de sulfuro y sólidos suspendidos de efluente en función del pH y dosis de sulfato de aluminio y cloruro férrico en la empresa Curtiembre y Servicios Libertad S.A.C.

El presente trabajo de investigación tuvo como objetivo la remoción de sulfuros y sólidos suspendidos
de efluente de Curtiembre en función del pH y dosis de sulfato de aluminio y cloruro férrico. La muestra
fue tomada del efluente que corresponde a la etapa del proceso Rivera: Pelambre de la empresa
Curtiembre y Servicios Libertad S.A.C. Para poder llevar a cabo la simulación del proceso de
coagulación- floculación se empleó un agitador magnético de (10 posiciones), usando como volumen
de muestra 200 mL a diferentes pH (9, 10 y 11 ), dosis de Sulfato de Aluminio (1200, 1400 y 1600
ppm) y Cloruro Férrico (6000, 7000 y 8000 ppm); así mismo la adición de floculante catiónico y
aniónico, se empleó una agitación rápida de 100 rpm con una duración de 3 min, seguida de una
agitación lenta de 50 rpm y teniendo un periodo de sedimentación de 12 horas.
Finalmente, después de realizar el tratamiento las muestras fueron analizadas por sulfuros y sólidos
suspendidos, los valores obtenidos fueron sometidos a un análisis ANOVA donde permitió determinar
los parámetros óptimos de pH y dosis de coagulación dando los siguientes valores: pH = 9.00 y
como dosis de coagulante fue 1200 ppm para Al2(SO4)3 logrando 61.42% de sulfuro y 91.67% de
solidos suspendidos; 7000 ppm para FeCl3, logrando 85.72% de sulfuro y 86.50% de solidos
suspendidos
