Desarrollo y lactancia del menor de seis meses en ciudad de Dios

Resumen
El presente estudio cuantitativo, descriptivo exploratorio, tuvo como propósito determinar el Grado de Desarrollo del niño menor de seis meses, en relación al Tipo de Lactancia, realizado en el Centro Poblado Menor Ciudad de Dios, para ello se encuestó a 50 madres, a la par que se evaluó a sus respectivos niños menores de seis meses, aplicando los instrumentos de Test de Evaluación del Desarrollo Psicomotor y Formulario semiestructurado sobre Lactancia. Se concluye que:
1.- El 92% de niños menores de seis meses en estudio, en el Centro Poblado Menor Ciudad de Dios, presentó Desarrollo Normal, y el 4% presentó Desarrollo en Riesgo y en Retraso respectivamente.
2.- De acuerdo a los factores maternos, se ha encontrado que el mayor porcentaje (70%) corresponde a madres jóvenes (de 17 a 27 años), con instrucción secundaria (70%), con número de hijos entre 2 a 3 (60%), que han dado de lactar hasta los seis meses (82%) y que declaran tener una frecuencia de lactancia de acuerdo a la demanda (40%).
3.- El Tipo de Lactancia que brindan las madres a los niños menores de seis meses, en su mayoría se encontró que el 74% declaró brindar Lactancia Materna, y en porcentaje menor que brindan lactancia Mixta.
4.- Al relacionar el Grado de Desarrollo y el Tipo de Lactancia del niño menor de seis meses, se encontró relación altamente significativa entre ambas variables, según la prueba estadística X2.
