El presente trabajo evaluó la sensibilidad de Staphylococcus aureus frente a la acción antibacterial del extracto crudo liofilizado de Allium sativum ¨ajo¨ al 0.5, 1, 5, 10, 25% de concentración. Los bubos de “ajo” fueron recolectados de San Ignacio de la Oyola-Distrito de Sinsicap – Otuzco-Perú estos fueron triturados por un extractor eléctrico para luego ser liofilizados, se realizó la identificación de metabolitos secundario haciendo uso de reactivos de coloración y precipitación para la evaluación de la sensibilidad se utilizó el método Kirby Bauer, en Agar Mueller-Hinton, utilizando discos de papel filtro embebido por cada concentración del extracto, independientemente se realizó un control positivo utilizando discos de Cefalexina 30μg, estas fueron incubadas a 37°C durante 24 h. Los resultados obtenidos muestran que se observa diferencia significativa entre la acción de la Cefalexina 30μg. y las concentraciones de 10 y 25 % del extracto crudo liofilizado de Allium sativum, respecto a la identificación de metabolitos se identificó flavonoides, alcaloide, taninos, aminoácidos y compuestos sulfurados.
