Efecto antibacteriano in vitro del extracto hidroetanólico de la semilla de Persea americana frente a Sthaphylococcus epidermidis

Resumen
El presente trabajo de investigación, estuvo orientado a determinar la concentración mínima inhibitoria (CMI) y la concentración mínima bactericida (CMB) del extracto hidroetanólico de las semillas Persea americana “palta” frente a Staphylococcus epidermidis procedente centro poblado del distrito de Moche, provincia de Trujillo.
El extracto hidroetanólico de las semillas Persea americana se obtuvo por macerado con constante agitación por 15 días. Asimismo presentó las siguientes características organolépticas: color anaranjado oscuro, olor suigéneris, textura líquida, sabor amargo. Luego se determinó la CMI por el método M27-A3 estandarizado por el Clinical and laboratory Standards institute (CLSI) adaptado a la investigación se utilizó diez concentraciones; y la CMB se realizó por el método de Dilución en agar utilizando la técnica de siembra en superficie en agar Muller-Hinton, se obtuvo un valor de 12.5 %, para ambas determinaciones frente Staphylococcus epidermidis
