Creatinina sérica en pacientes con osteoartrosis que reciben tratamiento crónico con antiinflamatorios no esteroideos

Título: “Creatinina sérica en pacientes con osteoartrosis que reciben tratamiento crónico con antiinflamatorios no esteroideos.”
Objetivo: Determinar los valores de creatinina sérica en pacientes con osteoartrosis que reciben tratamiento crónico con antiinflamatorios no esteroideos.
Material y método: Se realizó un estudio descriptivo, usando historias clínicas de adultos mayores de 18 años atendidos en el HRDT durante el periodo 2012-2013 que presentaron diagnóstico de osteoartrosis y que consumían AINEs durante al menos un periodo de 3 meses y que además cumplían con los criterios de inclusión y exclusión. Se emplearon pruebas no paramétricas para analizar la variable creatinina.
Resultados: Se seleccionaron 203 historias clínicas de pacientes con diagnóstico de osteoartrosis, donde se encontró que el 98% de la población presenta valores normales de creatinina sérica y 2% de la población presenta alteración en dichos valores, dentro de los que presentaron alteración: el sexo masculino presentó un 1% de alteración en los valores de creatinina sérica y en el sexo femenino un 2% de alteración. La edad media de la población fue de 62,13 años. Al aplicar la prueba de Kruskal Wallis con un valor de X2=20,248 y un valor-p=0,000 nos indicó que existen evidencias suficientes al nivel de 5% (valor-p < 0,05) para afirmar que la creatinina difiere según el tiempo de consumo del AINE. Además encontró que la creatinina sérica no difiere según sexo, edad, IMC ni localización de osteoartrosis.
Conclusión: Los valores de creatinina sérica, en pacientes con osteoartrosis que reciben tratamiento crónico con AINES, se encuentran dentro de los rangos de normalidad en un 98% de la población y 2% de la población presenta valores alterados.
