Injuria renal aguda como factor pronóstico de mortalidad en pacientes con neumonía severa por SARS COv 2 del Hospital Regional Docente de Trujillo

Abstract

La injuria renal aguda es un evento de gran impacto en la vida de los seres humanos, por ser de alta letalidad y su presencia requiere la intervención medica especializada con sistema de soporte renal, ademas, de identificar la clasificación y grado de severidad que se puede presentar en este tipo de pacientes. El objetivo principal es analizar la relación entre la injuria renal aguda y la mortalidad en este grupo de pacientes. La metodología incluye un estudio observacional retrospectivo de pacientes con neumonía severa por SARS COv 2, evaluando la presencia de injuria renal aguda y su impacto en la mortalidad. Entre las conclusiones principales se destaca que la injuria renal aguda se asocia significativamente con un peor pronóstico y mayor mortalidad en estos pacientes.

Abstract

Acute kidney injury is an event with great impact on the lives of human beings, as it is highly fatal and its presence requires specialized medical intervention with a renal support system, in addition to identifying the classification and degree of severity that can be caused. present in this type of patients. The main objective is to analyze the relationship between acute kidney injury and mortality in this group of patients. The methodology includes a retrospective observational study of patients with severe SARS COv 2 pneumonia, evaluating the presence of acute kidney injury and its impact on mortality. Among the main conclusions, it stands out that acute kidney injury is significantly associated with a worse prognosis and higher mortality in these patients.
