In this research, the objective of determining the influence of the digital customer experience on the competitiveness of the supermarkets in Metropolitan Lima for the period 2020 to 2021 was raised and it was validated that the digital experience influences the competitiveness of the supermarkets.

For the qualitative side, the collection of information was given by semi-structured interviews with experts on issues of digital experience, competitiveness, and supermarkets. For the quantitative side, a non-experimental design and a correlational-causal methodology were used, in which both variables were related through surveys of the unit of analysis.
We worked with a sample of 385 persons of a total population of 1,869,683 between men and women in their 18 and 65 years from the supermarkets in Metropolitan Lima who buy online. A correlational scope was chosen to identify the interaction of both variables. In this case, we analyzed the dimensions of digital experience that influence on the competitiveness.
After the investigation, the general hypothesis was accepted with a positive correlation of substantial level, identifying that the most representatives’ dimensions of the digital experience on the competitiveness are sensory experience and emotional experience. Therefore, it is recommended that supermarkets focus their strategies on improving the experience of their customers, mainly in these two dimensions to obtain grater competitiveness in the market.
