Introducción: La neoplasia intraepitelial cervical (NIC) constituye una lesión premaligna
que antecede el desarrollo de cáncer de cuello uterino.
Objetivo: Determinar los factores asociados a Neoplasia Intraepitelial Cervical en mujeres
atendidas por Consultorio Externo de Oncología Preventiva en el Hospital de Emergencias
Villa el Salvador en el periodo 2019 al 2022
Métodos: Estudio de tipo analítico transversal, observacional y retrospectivo. La
información se obtuvo a través de la revisión de 170 historias clínicas seleccionadas, que
posteriormente fueron transferidas a una base de datos en Excel y se procesó con el programa
SPSS vs.27
Resultados: En el análisis multivariado, las variables edad (IC95% 1,01-1,59, p=0,023),
lugar de nacimiento (IC95% 1,11-1,46, p=0,048), colposcopía (IC95% 1,04-1,14, p=0,038)
y Papanicolau (IC95% 1,08-1,34 p=0,038) mostraron una asociación estadísticamente
significativa con la presencia de neoplasia intraepitelial cervical
Conclusiones: Existen factores sociodemográficos y clínicos asociados a neoplasia
intraepitelial cervical
