ESTILOS DE VIDA Y ANSIEDAD EN ESTUDIANTES DE MEDICINA DURANTE LA PANDEMIA, AÑO 2021

Resumen
Objetivo: Analizar la asociación entre el estilo de vida y la ansiedad en estudiantes de medicina durante la pandemia, año 2021.
Metodología: El presente estudio fue de tipo observacional, transversal y analítico, donde se incluyó una muestra de 239 estudiantes de medicina durante la pandemia, 2021. La recolección de la información se llevó a cabo mediante el cuestionario FANTÁSTICO para la variable estilos de vida y se aplicó la Escala de Autoevaluación de Ansiedad de Zung para la variable ansiedad.
Resultados: Los datos sociodemográficos evidenciaron que el 85.4% de los estudiantes de medicina tuvieron entre 21 a 27 años, el 61.4% fueron del sexo femenino, el 97.5% estuvieron solteros o divorciados y el 87.9% fueron creyentes en alguna religión. El 53.6% presentaron un estilo de vida bueno y el 23.4% ansiedad mínima/moderada/grado máximo. Se observó que los estilos de vida (p=0.000; RPa=1.182), edad entre 21 y27 años (p=0.000; RPa=1.140), y el sexo femenino (p=0.012; RPa=1.063) estuvieron relacionados a la ansiedad en los estudiantes de medicina durante la pandemia.
Conclusiones: Existe asociación significativa entre los estilos de vida y la ansiedad en los estudiantes de medicina durante la pandemia, 2021. Un mal estilo de vida incrementa la ansiedad.
