Abstract
This paper offers a soteriological turn - according to Vatican II and to a rich prophetic tradition-to the question on the salvific character of religions. This theology of religions starts with the issue of the truth of religions. Do they let through the glory of God which is life for men (Jn 10, 10)? Theology of religions should presuppose a soteriological question: are religions instruments for the salvation of all men? The answer depends on the way people experience today charity, freedom and truth through religion.
