Resumen
This article aims to address the disappearance and the specific closure of myth as metaphysical background in Los Detectives Salvajes by Roberto Bolano; this closure is represented in the novel by the avant-garde poet Cesarea Tinajero, a character that emerges as a concrete life, lost in history, with more courage against systemic or ethical strength, than magical properties that connect with spiritual or religious statements.
