"Today salvation has come to this house" (Lc 19,10). Dialogical and interdisciplinary approach to the complexity of today: reflections on the core of practical theology

Abstract

This article reflectively reviews the main contents of the pastoral theology program offered by the Faculty of Theology of the Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile. It particularly analyzes the definition of its object, the action of God in human and ecclesial practices today, and its dialogical and interdisciplinary character with human and social sciences. Due to the latter, this paper was jointly written by professors specializing in Theology and Psychology, currently directors of the abovementioned program.
