A number of studies have been carried out in various health-related areas, ranging from issues of reducing bacterial contamination by removing common switches and controls and using Chatbots to methods and treatments for Parkinson's and other neurodegenerative diseases. In fact, there are many possibilities for health-related improvements, treatments and preventions that can come from neuroengineering. A bibliographical survey was carried out on neuroengineering and its use in the treatment of neurological diseases, as well as an analysis of the benefits of this science to health research. Through the literature, it is possible to see the great contributions of neuroengineering to the CNS and the neurodegenerative diseases it presents.Diversos estudos têm sido realizados em diversas áreas relacionadas à saúde, que vão desde questões de diminuição da contaminação bacteriana com a retirada de interruptores e controles comuns e a utilização de Chatbots até métodos e tratamentos do Parkinson e demais doenças neurodegenerativas. De fato, são diversas as possibilidades de melhorias, tratamentos e prevenções relacionadas à saúde que podem advir da neuroengenharia. Foi realizado um levantamento bibliográfico sobre a neuroengenharia e sua utilização no tratamento de doenças neurológicas, e uma análise acerca dos benefícios desta ciência a pesquisas na área da saúde. Através da literatura é possível evidenciar as grandes contribuições da neuroengenharia ao SNC e as enfermidades neurodegenerativas que esta apresenta.
