Objectives: Financial management plays a fundamental role in the economic context of all productive activity. Therefore, the main purpose of the study is to develop a specific financial management model for agricultural and livestock producers in the Sevilla de Oro canton, in the province of Azuay - Ecuador, that allows them to assess the sources of financing. In order to achieve the objective, conceptualizations of financing sources and financial management, their relevance and scope were analyzed. Methodology: The research was carried out using a non-experimental approach, and the collection and analysis of numerical, statistical and qualitative information was carried out. The scope of the research was descriptive and transversal. Results: The sampling was simple random that included 169 farmers. The findings show that 71% of study subjects face difficulties in obtaining information about debts and financial obligations, which highlights the importance of improving financial education and the dissemination of adequate data. Conclusions: The proposed financial management model is structured in three fundamental stages: financial analysis and planning, acquisition of financial resources, administration and supervision of monetary aspects. Special attention is devoted to phase II, which focuses on the thorough evaluation of the different sources of financing available, with the objective of making informed and strategic decisions.Objetivos: La gestión financiera desempeña un papel fundamental en el contexto económico de toda actividad productiva. Por ello, el estudio tiene como propósito principal desarrollar un modelo de gestión financiera específico para los productores agroganaderos del cantón Sevilla de Oro, en la provincia del Azuay – Ecuador, que les permita valorar las fuentes de financiamiento. Con el fin de alcanzar el objetivo, se analizaron conceptualizaciones sobre las fuentes de financiamiento y la gestión financiera, su relevancia y alcance. Metodología: La investigación se llevó a cabo mediante un enfoque no experimental, y se procedió a la recopilación y análisis de datos numéricos, estadísticos e información cualitativa. El alcance de la investigación fue descriptiva y transversal. Resultados: El muestreo fue aleatorio simple que incluyó a 169 agroganaderos. Los hallazgos evidencian que el 71% de sujetos en estudio enfrenta dificultades para obtener información sobre deudas y obligaciones financieras, lo cual resalta la importancia de mejorar la educación financiera y la difusión de datos adecuados. Conclusiones: El modelo de gestión financiera propuesto se estructura en tres etapas fundamentales: análisis y planificación financiera, adquisición de recursos financieros, administración y supervisión de los aspectos monetarios. Se dedica especial atención a la fase II, la cual se enfoca en la minuciosa evaluación de las distintas fuentes de financiamiento disponibles, con el objetivo de tomar decisiones informadas y estratégicas.
