| dc.description | Introducción: La alfabetización informacional es una necesidad imperiosa dentro de las instituciones y quehacer laboral y educativo, la misma que requiere de una formación específica y bien estructurada, de manera que pueda ser una herramienta eficaz dentro del desarrollo profesional. Objetivos: Determinar el nivel de alfabetización informacional del personal y directivos que laboran en la Biblioteca Pública de Calceta. Metodología: La metodología utilizada para el desarrollo de este estudio la metodología utilizada fue de tipo descriptiva con un modelo operativo en donde la acción está destinada a obtener respuesta. De igual manera se basa en la investigación de campo, de tipo entrevista y encuesta por cuanto brinda información precisa y específica de la problemática que se está estudiando, una vez se obtuvieron y analizaron los datos se pudo determinar que gran parte del personal de la biblioteca no es capaz de identificar las necesidades de información de los usuarios, de la misma manera varios de ellos no conocen ni manejan las fuentes de información que existen actualmente. Resultados: Como resultado se pudo lograr que el personal de la biblioteca necesita capacitaciones y formación en alfabetización informacional. Conclusiones: Esta investigación deja en evidencia la urgente necesidad que tiene el personal bibliotecarios de contar con capacitaciones constantes en temas de interés, y que se verán que, reflejados en el nivel de satisfacción de los usuarios, y en la construcción de una sociedad alfabetizada informacionalmente | es-ES |
| dc.description | Introduction: Information literacy is an imperative need within institutions and labor and educational activities, which requires specific and well-structured training, so that it can be an effective tool within professional development. Objectives: To determine the level of informational literacy of the staff and directors who work in the Public Library of Calceta. Methodology: The methodology used for the development of this study the methodology used was descriptive with an operating model where the action is intended to obtain a response. In the same way, it is based on field research, of the interview and survey type, since it provides precise and specific information on the problem that is being studied, once the data was obtained and analyzed, it was possible to determine that a large part of the library staff is not able to identify the information needs of users, in the same way several of them do not know or manage the sources of information that currently exist. Results: As a result, it was possible to achieve that the library staff needs training and education in information literacy. Conclusions: This research highlights the urgent need for library staff to have constant training on topics of interest, and that will be reflected in the level of user satisfaction, and in the construction of an information literate society. | en-US |
