La investigación se desarrolla en el Museo de las Parrandas de San Juan de los Remedios, principal centro receptor de visitantes/ turistas que proporciona herramientas para la interpretación de las parrandas como manifestación de la cultura popular tradicional en la región central de Cuba y el turismo cultural. Tiene como objetivo proponer un sistema de acciones que articulen la interpretación del patrimonio desde la institución museística, las parrandas y el turista. Entre las principales técnicas y métodos investigativos utilizados se encuentran: el análisis documental, la observación directa, entrevistas, encuestas y la triangulación de fuentes, para la obtención, tratamiento y análisis de información. Como principales resultados se obtiene un sistema de acciones que la institución puede desarrollar para la interpretación de la tradicional celebración, la participación del visitante/ turista y su contribución al desarrollo del turismo cultural en Remedios. La investigación contiene valor teórico y social al presentar un acercamiento a presupuestos teóricos-metodológicos relacionados con la interpretación del patrimonio cultural como objeto para la práctica del turismo cultural.The research is carried out at the Parrandas Museum in San Juan de los Remedios, the main reception center for visitors / tourists that provides tools for the interpretation of the parrandas as a manifestation of traditional popular culture in the central region of Cuba and cultural tourism. Its objective is to propose a system of actions that articulate the interpretation of heritage from the museum institution, the parrandas and the tourist. The research contains theoretical and social value by presenting an approach to theoretical-methodological assumptions related to the interpretation of cultural heritage as an object for the practice of cultural tourism.
