dc.descriptionIntroducción. Las pruebas ser bachiller representan en ecuador, una manera de lograr establecer las diferentes capacidades y aptitudes académicas que poseen los futuros bachilleres de la nación, esto es de gran interés para la nación ya que son estos bachilleres quienes ingresaran a las diferentes instituciones de educación superior del país, y resulta interesante conocer los datos en cuanto a rendimiento académico se refiere. Objetivo. Evaluar, por medio del método estadístico Multivariable, los factores que posiblemente inciden de manera directa e indirecta en el bajo rendimiento académico en el área de las matemáticas de la prueba ser bachiller. Metodología. La investigación es de tipo no experimental de tipo descriptiva y analítica. Resultados. Se procedió a filtrar la base de datos proporcionada por el Instituto Nacional de Evaluación Educacional, con la finalidad de trabajar solo con los resultados del cantón Duran del año 2020. Conclusión. Se evidencia que las bajas calificaciones en el área de las matemáticas guardan estrecha relación con el tipo de segregación económica del sustentante y del tipo de institución en el que cursa sus estudios.es-ES

The high school tests represent in Ecuador, a way to establish the different academic skills and aptitudes that the nation's future high school graduates possess, this is of great interest to the nation since it is these high school graduates who will enter the different institutions of higher education of the country, and it is interesting to know the data regarding academic performance. Objective. Evaluate, by means of the Multivariable statistical method, the factors that possibly affect directly and indirectly in the low academic performance in the area of mathematics of the high school test. Methodology. The research is non-experimental, descriptive and analytical. Results. The database provided by the National Institute of Educational Evaluation was filtered, in order to work only with the results of the Duran canton of the year 2020. Conclusion. It is evident that low grades in the area of mathematics are closely related to the type of economic segregation of the applicant and the type of institution in which he studies.en-US
