dc.descriptionRESUMEN: La desnutrición aguda afecta principalmente a los niños y niñas menores de cinco años; por varias razones, entre las que destaca la falta de implementación adecuada de lineamientos técnicos normativos por parte del personal y las instituciones de salud. Por lo anterior, y con el fin de contribuir al mejoramiento de la prestación de los servicios de salud en el marco del manejo integral de la desnutrición en esta población, se planteó la implementación de la resolución 2350 de 2020 en tres momentos: 1. Capacitación 2. asesorías y 3. Realización de auditoría externa una IPS del Distrito de Turbo Antioquia. Al finalizar el estudio se logró identificar que la IPS cumplió con el 85,7% de los ítems evaluados, lo que se interpreta como cumplimiento parcial en las actividades de este proceso, lo que implica continuar aunando esfuerzos para cumplir a cabalidad con la implementación de la resolución 2350 del 2020. A la luz de los hallazgos, la IPS podrá implementar las acciones de mejora propuestas, con el fin de asegurar el mejoramiento continuo de sus procesos y el bienestar de los niños y niñas menores de cinco años con desnutrición aguda.
dc.descriptionABSTRACT: Acute malnutrition mainly affects boys and girls under five years of age; for various reasons, among which the lack of adequate implementation of technical normative guidelines by health personnel and institutions stands out. Due to the above, and in order to contribute to the improvement of the provision of health services within the framework of the comprehensive management of malnutrition in this population, the implementation of resolution 2350 of 2020 was proposed in three moments: 1. Training 2. Consulting and 3. Carrying out an external audit of an IPS of the District of Turbo Antioquia. At the end of the study, it was possible to identify that the IPS complied with 85.7% of the items evaluated, which is interpreted as partial compliance in the activities of this process, which implies continuing to join efforts to fully comply with the implementation of resolution 2350 of 2020. In light of the findings, the IPS will be able to implement the proposed improvement actions, in order to ensure the continuous improvement of its processes and the well-being of children under five years of age with acute malnutrition.
