RESUMEN: El cuerpo es el vínculo directo que tiene el ser humano para expresar su pensamiento, posibilita su conciencia tanto individual como social y permite el desarrollo de su existencia. Las funciones de este cuerpo y sus límites cambian según la cosmovisión de cada cultura. Así se entiende que en la Edad Media el hombre fuera visto como microcosmos que en su ser reflejaba el universo, es decir como una creación divina cuya materialidad siempre estaba sometida a un plano espiritual.
El presente trabajo es una aproximación a las concepciones del cuerpo en la Edad Media que pueden interpretarse a través de las obras dramáticas: Mariquilla de Nimega y Diálogo del Viejo, el Amor y la Mujer Hermosa, las cuales han sido estudiadas por la crítica a la luz de la dicotomía de teatro sagrado y teatro profano, respectivamente. Para este análisis se presenta una contextualización del concepto de Edad Media y sus habitantes, se emprende la búsqueda de lo que se podría llamar teatralidad medieval y se estudian las relaciones de esta sociedad con el cuerpo femenino y el cuerpo del actor a partir de las obras dramáticas propuestas, para finalmente concluir que existe una fina línea, muy difusa, entre lo cómico y lo moralizador en la sociedad medieval. RÉSUMÉ: Le corps est le lien direct que l'être humain a pour exprimer sa pensée, il permet sa conscience
individuelle et sociale et permet le développement de son existence. Les fonctions de ce corps et
ses limites changent selon la vision du monde de chaque culture. On comprend ainsi qu'au Moyen
Âge l'homme était considéré comme un microcosme qui reflétait l'univers dans son être, c'est-àdire comme une création divine dont la matérialité était toujours soumise à un plan spirituel.
Le présent travail est une approximation des conceptions du corps au Moyen Âge qui
peuvent être interprétées à partir des œuvres dramatiques : Mariken van Nieumeghen et Diálogo
del Viejo, el Amor y la Mujer Hermosa, qui ont été étudiées par les critiques selon la dichotomie
du théâtre sacré et du théâtre profane, respectivement. Pour cette analyse, on offre une
contextualisation du concept du Moyen Âge et de ses habitants, on s’engage à la recherche de ce
qu'on pourrait appeler la théâtralité médiévale et on étudie les relations de cette société avec le
corps féminin et le corps de l'acteur à travers les pièces dramatiques proposées, pour finalement
conclure qu'il y a une ligne fine, très diffuse, entre le comique et le moralisateur dans la société
médiévale.
